Terms of Service

Service Agreement

By scheduling service with Bay Area Heating and Cooling, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before requesting service.

Service Appointments

• We provide estimated arrival windows for all appointments
• We will contact you if there are any delays or schedule changes
• Please ensure someone 18 years or older is present during the service call
• Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance when possible

Service Estimates and Authorization

Before beginning any repair work, our technician will diagnose the issue and provide you with an estimate. Work will not begin until you authorize the repair and agree to the quoted price.

• Diagnostic fees may apply and will be disclosed when scheduling
• Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted
• Additional issues discovered during service will require separate authorization

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash.

Warranty

We use OEM-compatible parts and source genuine manufacturer parts when available. Parts availability and warranty terms vary by manufacturer and model.

• Labor warranty terms vary by service type and will be disclosed at time of service
• Manufacturer warranties on equipment are separate from our service warranty
• Warranty claims must be reported promptly

Limitation of Liability

Bay Area Heating and Cooling liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by normal wear, or issues unrelated to our service.

Independent Service Provider

We are an independent HVAC service provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any HVAC equipment manufacturer. All brand names, logos, and trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective owners.

Service Area

We provide service throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Carlos and surrounding communities within our service radius.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
